What Reflag (BYOK) is for

Reflag (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Reflag data through the Reflag API with a key you supply (Reflag management API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_apps, get_app, list_flags, list_environments, get_environment, get_company_flags, get_user_flags). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.reflag.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Reflag apps and environments do I have?"
  • "What stages and segments does my Reflag app have?"
  • "Which Reflag flags are stale or no longer checked?"
  • "Which environments does my Reflag app have?"
  • "Is Reflag environment env123 the production one?"
  • "Which Reflag flags are on for company acme-corp in production?"

What it does

  • list_apps: List the Reflag apps the key can access, each with its organization and environments.
  • get_app: Get one app: organization, flag key format, release stages and segments.
  • list_flags: List all flags of an app with key, name, stage, stale and archived state, creation date and last check or track times.
  • list_environments: List the environments of an app (for example production, staging) with ids and flag state version.
  • get_environment: Get one environment: name, production flag, order and flag state version.
  • get_company_flags: Show every flag with its on or off value, specific targeting and exposure counts for one company in an environment.
  • get_user_flags: Show every flag with its on or off value, specific targeting and exposure counts for one user in an environment.

BYOK key

You bring your own Reflag Reflag management API key (https://docs.reflag.com/api/api-access). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.reflag.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
