What Render Service Operations (BYOK) is for
Render Service Operations (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Render Service Operations data through the Render Service Operations API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 11 tools (list_service_events, list_routes, list_headers, list_jobs, get_job, list_instances, get_outbound_ips, list_disks, list_disk_snapshots, list_dedicated_ips, list_maintenance_runs). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.render.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Render Service Operations. Render Service Operations and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What happened to my Render service recently?"
- "Which redirects does my Render site have?"
- "Which custom headers does my Render static site send?"
- "Did my last Render one-off job succeed?"
- "How long did Render job job-abc123 run?"
- "How many instances of my Render service are running?"
What it does
list_service_events: List events of a Render service (deploys started and ended, autoscaling, crashes, suspensions) newest first with type and time.list_routes: List the redirect and rewrite rules of a Render static site or service with source, destination and priority.list_headers: List the custom HTTP response headers of a Render static site by path, name and value.list_jobs: List one-off jobs run on a Render service with command, plan, status and start and finish times.get_job: Get one one-off job: command, plan, status and times.list_instances: List the running instances of a Render service with id and start time.get_outbound_ips: Get the outbound IP addresses of a Render service (shared region IPs or a dedicated IP) for allow-listing.list_disks: List persistent disks with name, size in GB, mount path, service and dates.list_disk_snapshots: List the snapshots of a Render persistent disk.list_dedicated_ips: List dedicated outbound IP groups of a workspace with region, IPs, environments and status.list_maintenance_runs: List scheduled and past maintenance runs of Render resources with type, time and state.
BYOK key
You bring your own Render Service Operations API key (https://dashboard.render.com/settings#api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.render.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
