What Resend (BYOK) is for

Resend (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Resend data through the Resend API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_sent_emails, get_sent_email, list_received_emails, list_domains, get_domain, list_contacts, list_segments, list_api_keys). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.resend.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Resend. Resend and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What emails did I send recently with Resend and were they delivered?"
  • "What is the delivery status of this Resend email?"
  • "What inbound emails has my Resend domain received?"
  • "Which domains are verified in my Resend account?"
  • "Which DNS records are still unverified for my Resend domain?"
  • "Who is on my Resend contact list and who has unsubscribed?"

What it does

  • list_sent_emails: List emails sent from the account, newest first, with sender, recipients, subject and last delivery event. Pages by email ID.
  • get_sent_email: Get one sent email by ID: sender, recipients, subject, tags, last event and scheduled time (body not returned).
  • list_received_emails: List inbound emails received on a receiving-enabled domain, with sender, subject and attachment names. Pages by email ID.
  • list_domains: List sending domains with verification status, region, tracking settings and sending/receiving capability.
  • get_domain: Get one domain by ID, including the DNS records (SPF, DKIM, tracking) and their verification status.
  • list_contacts: List contacts with email, name and unsubscribed flag, optionally restricted to one segment. Pages by contact ID.
  • list_segments: List contact segments (groups of contacts used for broadcasts) with ID, name and creation time.
  • list_api_keys: List the account's API keys by ID and name with creation and last-used time. Key secrets are never returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own Resend API key (https://resend.com/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.resend.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Resend API (api.resend.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://resend.com/docs/api-reference/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Resend. Resend and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Resend account.
