What ResRobot (BYOK) is for

ResRobot (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own ResRobot data through the ResRobot API with a key you supply (Trafiklab ResRobot v2.1 API key). Read-only: 5 tools (search_stops, nearby_stops, plan_trip, departures, arrivals). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.resrobot.se. ResRobot and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What is the ResRobot stop id of Goteborg Central?"
  • "Which public transport stops are near 57.7089, 11.9746 in Goteborg?"
  • "How do I get from Stockholm Central to Goteborg Central tomorrow morning?"
  • "What leaves Goteborg Central in the next hour?"
  • "What arrives at Stockholm Central in the next 30 minutes?"

What it does

  • search_stops: Search stops, stations and addresses in Sweden by name, optionally within a radius of a coordinate. Returns names and stop ids for the other tools.
  • nearby_stops: List stops near a coordinate in Sweden, with ids and distance, within a radius of up to 10 km.
  • plan_trip: Plan journeys between two stop ids across Sweden using all public transport, for a given date and time, as departures or arrivals.
  • departures: Get the departure board of one stop id: line, direction and times, with realtime data where available.
  • arrivals: Get the arrival board of one stop id: line, origin and times, with realtime data where available.

BYOK key

You bring your own ResRobot Trafiklab ResRobot v2.1 API key (https://www.trafiklab.se/api/our-apis/resrobot-v21/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.resrobot.se over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
