What REVIEWS.io (BYOK) is for

REVIEWS.io (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own REVIEWS.io data through the REVIEWS.io API with a key you supply (REVIEWS.io private API key). Read-only: 8 tools (get_review_stats, list_reviews, get_product_reviews, get_product_ratings, list_user_generated_content, list_review_nuggets, list_company_invitations, list_product_invitations). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.reviews.io, api.reviews.co.uk. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What is my overall REVIEWS.io rating and review count?"
  • "Show my latest REVIEWS.io company reviews with a rating of 4 or more"

  • "What is the average rating of SKUs ABC-123 and ABC-456?"

What it does

  • get_review_stats: Get average rating and total review counts for a store's product reviews, company reviews and third-party reviews.
  • list_reviews: List reviews and product questions of a store, filtered by type, product SKU, tag, keyword, minimum rating or dates, newest first by default.
  • get_product_reviews: Get product reviews for specific SKUs with the product's rating statistics, filtered by minimum rating, comments, verified buyers or dates.
  • get_product_ratings: Get the average rating and number of ratings for one or more product SKUs.
  • list_user_generated_content: List user generated content (customer photos and videos with comments and rating), optionally by SKU, tag, category or videos only.
  • list_review_nuggets: List review nuggets (short highlighted quotes from reviews) by review type, minimum rating or SKU text.
  • list_company_invitations: List company review invitations with order id, send status and send date (customer names and emails are not returned).
  • list_product_invitations: List product review invitations with order id, send status and send date (customer names and emails are not returned).

BYOK key

You bring your own REVIEWS.io REVIEWS.io private API key (https://dash.reviews.io/integrations/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.reviews.io, api.reviews.co.uk over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
