What RudderStack (BYOK) is for

RudderStack (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own RudderStack data through the RudderStack API with a key you supply (service access token (organization-level for audit logs and usage)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_audit_logs, get_organization_event_usage, list_tracking_plans, list_tracking_plan_events, list_catalog_events, list_catalog_properties, list_transformations, list_transformation_versions, list_libraries). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.rudderstack.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by RudderStack. RudderStack and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What changes were made to my RudderStack destinations recently?"
  • "How many events did each RudderStack source send per day this month?"
  • "Which tracking plans exist in my RudderStack workspace?"
  • "Which events does my RudderStack tracking plan cover?"
  • "Which events are defined in my RudderStack data catalog?"
  • "Which properties are defined in my RudderStack data catalog?"

What it does

  • list_audit_logs: List audit log entries (who did what to which sources, destinations, profiles or permissions) for the organization or one workspace. Needs an organization-level admin token. EU-region accounts use another host and are not reachable.
  • get_organization_event_usage: Get event counts per workspace, source and time bucket (day, week or month) plus totals for event stream, reverse ETL and ETL. Needs an organization-level token; lookback is 60 days (day), 9 weeks (week) or 24 months (month).
  • list_tracking_plans: List the data governance tracking plans of the workspace with name, description, version and how each was created.
  • list_tracking_plan_events: List the events that belong to one tracking plan.
  • list_catalog_events: List the events defined in the data catalog with type, description and dates.
  • list_catalog_properties: List the properties defined in the data catalog with data type and description.
  • list_transformations: List the published transformations (name, language, version, dates and connected destinations). Source code is not returned.
  • list_transformation_versions: List the revisions of one transformation (version id, name, language, dates); the first 5 by default. Source code is not returned.
  • list_libraries: List the published transformation libraries with name, import name, language and dates. Source code is not returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own RudderStack service access token (organization-level for audit logs and usage) (https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/access-management/service-access-tokens/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.rudderstack.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the RudderStack API (api.rudderstack.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.rudderstack.com/docs/api/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by RudderStack. RudderStack and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your RudderStack account.
