What RunCloud (BYOK) is for

RunCloud (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own RunCloud data through the RunCloud API with a key you supply (API token). Read-only: 8 tools (list_servers, get_server, list_web_apps, list_web_app_domains, list_databases, list_cron_jobs, list_system_users, list_ssh_keys). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to manage.runcloud.io. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What servers do I manage in RunCloud?"
  • "Show details of this RunCloud server"
  • "Which web apps run on this RunCloud server?"
  • "Which domains does this RunCloud web app serve?"
  • "Which databases are on this RunCloud server?"
  • "What cron jobs run on this RunCloud server?"

What it does

  • list_servers: List the servers connected to RunCloud with provider, stack, IP address, OS, online state, PHP CLI version and pending updates.
  • get_server: Get one RunCloud server by id: provider, stack, IP address, OS, online state, agent version and pending updates.
  • list_web_apps: List the web applications on a RunCloud server with name, paths, PHP version, stack, type and creation time. Pull keys are not returned.
  • list_web_app_domains: List the domain names of a RunCloud web application with type, www and redirect setting, wildcard flag and DNS integration.
  • list_databases: List the databases on a RunCloud server with name, collation and creation time.
  • list_cron_jobs: List the cron jobs on a RunCloud server with label, user, schedule and enabled flag. The command text is not returned.
  • list_system_users: List the system users on a RunCloud server with username and whether each can be deleted. Deployment keys are not returned.
  • list_ssh_keys: List the SSH keys registered on a RunCloud server with label, user and creation time. The key text is not returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own RunCloud API token (https://runcloud.io/docs/api/v3). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to manage.runcloud.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Uses RunCloud API v3 (API token from Workspace > Settings > API Management). The older v2 key and secret pair is not supported.
