What Runloop (BYOK) is for

Runloop (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Runloop data through the Runloop API with a key you supply (Runloop API key). Read-only: 10 tools (get_account, list_devboxes, get_devbox, get_devbox_usage, list_blueprints, list_public_blueprints, list_snapshots, list_agents, list_network_policies, list_secret_names). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.runloop.ai. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Runloop. Runloop and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Runloop account and plan is this key for?"
  • "Which Runloop devboxes are running right now?"
  • "What is the state of Runloop devbox dbx_abc?"
  • "How much compute did Runloop devbox dbx_abc use?"
  • "Which Runloop blueprints have I built?"
  • "Which public Runloop blueprints are available?"

What it does

  • get_account: Show the Runloop account the key belongs to: id, name, plan tier, status and creation time. Billing identifiers are not requested.
  • list_devboxes: List sandbox devboxes with status, name, blueprint or snapshot they started from, creation time and metadata; filter by status.
  • get_devbox: Get one devbox: status, times (Unix milliseconds), origin blueprint or snapshot, metadata and launch size settings.
  • get_devbox_usage: Show the resource usage of one devbox: active and elapsed seconds, vCPU seconds, memory GB seconds and disk GB seconds.
  • list_blueprints: List your devbox blueprints (container image templates) with name, build status, state and creation time; filter by name or status.
  • list_public_blueprints: List the public blueprints that every Runloop user can start devboxes from, with name, build status and creation time.
  • list_snapshots: List disk snapshots of devboxes with name, source devbox or blueprint, commit message, size and creation time.
  • list_agents: List registered agent definitions with name, version, public flag and creation time.
  • list_network_policies: List devbox network policies with name, description and the egress rules (allow all, hostnames, CIDRs, gateways).
  • list_secret_names: List the names of the account secrets with ids and times. The API never returns secret values.

BYOK key

You bring your own Runloop Runloop API key (https://platform.runloop.ai/settings#api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.runloop.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Runloop API (api.runloop.ai) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.runloop.ai/api-reference. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Runloop. Runloop and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Runloop account.
