What SaladCloud (BYOK) is for

SaladCloud (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own SaladCloud data through the SaladCloud API with a key you supply (SaladCloud API key). Read-only: 9 tools (list_container_groups, get_container_group, list_container_group_instances, list_queues, list_queue_jobs, get_quotas, list_gpu_classes, list_inference_endpoints, get_inference_endpoint). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.salad.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SaladCloud. SaladCloud and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What container groups are running in my SaladCloud project?"
  • "What is the state of container group image-worker in project inference?"
  • "How are the instances of container group image-worker doing?"
  • "How long are my SaladCloud job queues?"
  • "Which jobs in queue render-jobs have failed?"
  • "How many container replicas can my SaladCloud organization still run?"

What it does

  • list_container_groups: List the container groups in a project with image, status, replica count, resources and creation time. Environment variables and logging credentials are not returned.
  • get_container_group: Get one container group: image, resources (CPU, memory, GPU classes), replicas, state, networking and autoscaler settings. Environment variables are not returned.
  • list_container_group_instances: List the running instances of a container group with state, readiness, CPU and memory usage and last update time.
  • list_queues: List the job queues of a project with description, current queue length and the container groups serving them.
  • list_queue_jobs: List jobs in a queue with status and timestamps (job input and output payloads are not returned), 1 to 100 per page.
  • get_quotas: Show the organization's container group quotas: replica quota and replicas used, plus per-minute limits for reallocations, recreates and restarts.
  • list_gpu_classes: List the GPU classes available to the organization with class type (community or secure), CPU and RAM ranges, demand flag and prices.
  • list_inference_endpoints: List the managed inference endpoints visible to the organization with name, description and price description, 1 to 100 per page.
  • get_inference_endpoint: Get one inference endpoint with description, price description, README and input and output schemas.

BYOK key

You bring your own SaladCloud SaladCloud API key (https://portal.salad.com/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.salad.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the SaladCloud API (api.salad.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.salad.com/reference/saladcloud-api/organizations/get-quotas. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SaladCloud. SaladCloud and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your SaladCloud account.
