What Scoopkit (BYOK) is for

Scoopkit (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Scoopkit data through the Scoopkit API with a key you supply (Scoopkit API key). Read-only: 5 tools (list_events, get_event, search_events, get_taxonomy, get_account). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.scoopkit.dev. Scoopkit and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

  • "What AI model releases were reported this week?"
  • "Show the full details of event ev_3b1d8159b2144540"
  • "Find events about open-weight model licences"
  • "Which event categories does Scoopkit use?"
  • "Which Scoopkit tier is my key on?"

What it does

  • list_events: List AI-industry news events, newest first, filtered by category, subcategory or reported-at range, with cursor paging (1 to 100 per page). The free tier covers a 45-day archive.
  • get_event: Get one event by id with its full details, as returned by list_events or search_events.
  • search_events: Semantic search over AI-industry events, ranked by relevance. Needs a Pro tier key; a free key gets a 403.
  • get_taxonomy: List every event category and subcategory with its label and the tier that unlocks it.
  • get_account: Show the account behind the key: email, tier and archive length in days.

BYOK key

You bring your own Scoopkit Scoopkit API key (https://scoopkit.dev/start). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.scoopkit.dev over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
