What Seats.io (BYOK) is for

Seats.io (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Seats.io data through the Seats.io API with a key you supply (Seats.io secret workspace key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_events, get_event, list_charts, get_chart, get_event_availability_summary, get_event_status_summary, get_chart_category_summary, list_status_changes). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api-eu.seatsio.net, api-na.seatsio.net, api-sa.seatsio.net, api-oc.seatsio.net. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Seats.io. Seats.io and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which events do I have in Seats.io?"
  • "Show the Seats.io event summer-gala-2026"
  • "Which seating charts do I have in Seats.io?"
  • "Show Seats.io chart 6451436c-24fb-11e7-93ae-92361f002671"
  • "How many seats are still available for Seats.io event summer-gala-2026?"
  • "How many seats are booked for Seats.io event summer-gala-2026?"

What it does

  • list_events: List a workspace's events, newest first, with key, chart key, season flags and creation time. Page with start_after_id.
  • get_event: Get one event with its chart key, categories, channels, for-sale configuration and season flags.
  • list_charts: List the seating charts of a workspace, newest first, with key, name, status, tags and archive flag. Can filter by name or tag.
  • get_chart: Get one seating chart with name, status, tags, venue type and validation errors and warnings.
  • get_event_availability_summary: Count the available and unavailable seats of an event, with breakdowns by section, category and status.
  • get_event_status_summary: Count the objects of an event per status (free, booked, held and so on), with breakdowns by section and category. The keys of the answer are the statuses.
  • get_chart_category_summary: Count the bookable objects of a chart per category label, with a breakdown by section. The keys of the answer are the category labels.
  • list_status_changes: List the booking, hold and release changes of an event's seats, newest first, with object label, status, order id and time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Seats.io Seats.io secret workspace key (https://docs.seats.io/docs/api/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api-eu.seatsio.net, api-na.seatsio.net, api-sa.seatsio.net, api-oc.seatsio.net over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Seats.io API (api-eu.seatsio.net, api-na.seatsio.net, api-sa.seatsio.net, api-oc.seatsio.net) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.seats.io/docs/api/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Seats.io. Seats.io and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
