What SendX (BYOK) is for

SendX (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own SendX data through the SendX API with a key you supply (SendX team API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_contacts, get_contact, list_campaigns, get_campaign, get_campaign_report, list_lists, list_tags, list_senders, list_templates, list_custom_fields, list_domains, list_posts). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.sendx.io. What it does

  • list_contacts: List contacts of the team (up to 100 per page) with lists, tags and subscription status; search by name or email.
  • get_contact: Get one contact by its prefixed id, with custom field values, lists, tags, status flags and lifetime value.
  • list_campaigns: List email campaigns with subject, sender, status and audience lists, tags and segments; filter by draft, scheduled or sent.
  • get_campaign: Get one campaign with subject, preview text, sender, schedule settings and included and excluded lists, tags and segments.
  • get_campaign_report: Get a campaign's performance counts: sent, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, bounced and spam contacts, plus clicks per link.
  • list_lists: List contact lists; search by name.
  • list_tags: List the contact tags defined in the team, with creation dates.
  • list_senders: List the sender identities (name, email, whitelisted flag) available for campaigns.
  • list_templates: List email templates with name, subject, type and thumbnail (HTML bodies are left out); search by name.
  • list_custom_fields: List the custom contact fields defined for the team.
  • list_domains: List sending domains with verification status for DKIM, return path, tracking and DMARC.
  • list_posts: List blog posts with title, slug, category, publish state and dates.

BYOK key

You bring your own SendX SendX team API key (https://app.sendx.io/setting/connectors/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.sendx.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
