What Sentry Monitors (BYOK) is for

Sentry Monitors (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Sentry Monitors data through the Sentry Monitors API with a key you supply (auth token (alerts:read and project:read scopes)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_cron_monitors, get_cron_monitor, list_cron_checkins, list_alert_monitors, get_alert_monitor, list_alert_workflows, get_alert_workflow). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to sentry.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sentry Monitors. Sentry Monitors and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Sentry cron monitors are failing?"
  • "Show the Sentry cron monitor nightly-backup"
  • "Did the Sentry nightly-backup cron run last night?"
  • "Which Sentry alert monitors are enabled?"
  • "Show Sentry alert monitor d1"
  • "Which Sentry alerts have triggered recently?"

What it does

  • list_cron_monitors: List cron monitors with status (ok, error, missed_checkin, timeout, disabled), schedule, margins, thresholds, project and per-environment last and next check-in. Returns the first page only.
  • get_cron_monitor: Get one cron monitor by slug or id: status, schedule, thresholds, project and environments.
  • list_cron_checkins: List recent check-ins of a cron monitor: status (ok, error, in_progress, missed, timeout), environment, duration in milliseconds and expected time. Returns the first page only.
  • list_alert_monitors: List alert monitors (detectors) such as error, metric_issue and issue_stream monitors with name, type, enabled flag, project and linked workflow ids. Owners are left out. Returns the first page only.
  • get_alert_monitor: Get one alert monitor (detector) by id: name, type, enabled flag, project, description and linked workflow ids.
  • list_alert_workflows: List alert workflows (the notification rules attached to monitors) with name, enabled flag, environment, linked monitor ids and last trigger time. Returns the first page only.
  • get_alert_workflow: Get one alert workflow by id: name, enabled flag, environment, linked monitors and last trigger time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Sentry Monitors auth token (alerts:read and project:read scopes) (https://sentry.io/settings/account/api/auth-tokens/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to sentry.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Sentry Monitors API (sentry.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.sentry.io/api/crons/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sentry Monitors. Sentry Monitors and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Sentry Monitors account.
