What Sentry (BYOK) is for

Sentry (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Sentry data through the Sentry API with a key you supply (auth token). Read-only: 8 tools (list_organizations, list_projects, get_project, list_organization_issues, get_issue, list_issue_events, get_issue_event, list_organization_releases). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to sentry.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sentry. Sentry and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Sentry organizations can I access?"
  • "Which Sentry projects do I have?"
  • "What platform is the 'web-app' Sentry project in acme?"
  • "What are the most frequent unresolved Sentry issues in acme?"
  • "Give me the details of Sentry issue 1234567890 in acme"
  • "Show recent events for Sentry issue 1234567890 in acme"

What it does

  • list_organizations: List the Sentry organizations the token can access, with slug, name, status and creation date.
  • list_projects: List the projects the token can access across organizations, with slug, platform, creation date and organization.
  • get_project: Get one Sentry project by organization and project slug: platform, status, creation date, first event and latest release.
  • list_organization_issues: List an organization's Sentry issues using Sentry search syntax (default is:unresolved), with counts, level, status and last seen. Up to 100 per call.
  • get_issue: Get one Sentry issue with its counts, first and last seen, level, status, assignee, first and last release and comment count.
  • list_issue_events: List the error events of one Sentry issue, newest first, with message, platform, tags and time. Up to 100 per call.
  • get_issue_event: Get one event of a Sentry issue (use 'latest', 'oldest' or 'recommended' as the event ID) with its tags, release, user, SDK and stack trace entries.
  • list_organization_releases: List an organization's Sentry releases, newest first, with version, creation and release dates, new issue counts and deploy counts.

BYOK key

You bring your own Sentry auth token (https://sentry.io/settings/account/api/auth-tokens/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to sentry.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Sentry API (sentry.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.sentry.io/api/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sentry. Sentry and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Sentry account.
