What SimplyPrint (BYOK) is for
SimplyPrint (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own SimplyPrint data through the SimplyPrint API with a key you supply (SimplyPrint API key (needs the Pro plan or an organization seat)). Read-only: 8 tools (list_printers, get_printer, get_farm_overview, list_queue_items, list_files, list_print_jobs, list_filament, get_print_statistics). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.simplyprint.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SimplyPrint. SimplyPrint and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which of my 3D printers are online and what are they doing?"
- "What is printer 13 doing right now?"
- "How many of my printers are printing and which ones need the bed cleared?"
- "What is waiting in my SimplyPrint print queue?"
- "What files are in my SimplyPrint library?"
- "Which prints finished or failed recently on my printers?"
What it does
list_printers: List the printers of the account with name, state, online flag, group, IP, firmware, model and temperatures. Page size is 1 to 25.get_printer: Get one printer by id with state, group, IP, firmware, model, temperatures and camera flag.get_farm_overview: Get a summary of the print farm: how many printers are online, offline, printing, paused, awaiting bed clearing, in maintenance or need attention, and the per-brand breakdown. Needs the Print Farm plan.list_queue_items: List print queue items with filename, copies left and printed, type, who added it, when and the estimated cost. Page size is 1 to 200.list_files: List the files and folders in a folder of the file library with name, extension, type, size, print counts and total space used.list_print_jobs: List print jobs (ongoing and finished) with filename, status, printer, start and end time, filament used and print time. Page size is 1 to 100.list_filament: List the filament spools with brand, type, color, diameter, total and remaining amount and cost, plus counts per brand and type.get_print_statistics: Get print statistics for the account: total print seconds, filament used in grams, and counts of done, failed and regretted jobs, optionally for a date range. Needs the Pro plan.
BYOK key
You bring your own SimplyPrint SimplyPrint API key (needs the Pro plan or an organization seat) (https://apidocs.simplyprint.io/#gaining-access-to-the-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.simplyprint.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
