What Slite (BYOK) is for
Slite (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Slite data through the Slite API with a key you supply (personal API key). Read-only: 7 tools (get_me, list_notes, get_note, list_note_children, search_notes, search_users, search_groups). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.slite.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Slite. Slite and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Slite account is my API key for?"
- "What are the most recently edited notes in Slite?"
- "Show me the content of Slite note kxm1sH0YBvGFya"
- "What notes sit under Slite note kxm1sH0YBvGFya?"
- "Find Slite notes about onboarding"
- "Who in Slite is called Ada?"
What it does
get_me: Show the Slite user the key belongs to: display name, email and organization name and domain.list_notes: List notes with title, parent, review state, owner and dates; filter by owner or parent note and order by edit time or position.get_note: Get one note with its title, review state, dates and the full content as markdown, HTML or SliteML.list_note_children: List the notes directly under a parent note, or the whole subtree when include_descendants is true.search_notes: Search notes by text with optional filters for parent note, review state and edit date; returns title, a highlighted snippet, parents and dates.search_users: Search users by name or email and return id, display name, role and guest flag.search_groups: Search groups by name and return id, name and description.
BYOK key
You bring your own Slite personal API key (https://developers.slite.com/docs/getting-started). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.slite.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not

Slite and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
