What SMTP2GO (BYOK) is for
SMTP2GO (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own SMTP2GO data through the SMTP2GO API with a key you supply (API key (restrict its permissions to the read endpoints you need)). Read-only: 11 tools (get_email_cycle, get_email_summary, get_email_bounces, get_email_history, search_activity, search_sent_emails, list_sender_domains, list_single_sender_emails, view_suppressions, search_templates, search_subaccounts). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.smtp2go.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SMTP2GO. SMTP2GO and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "How many emails have I used this month on SMTP2GO?"
- "Give me an SMTP2GO summary of my recent email performance"
- "What is my SMTP2GO bounce rate?"
- "Which sender address sent the most email on SMTP2GO last month?"
- "Which emails to jo@example.com were delivered or bounced on SMTP2GO?"
- "Which emails did I send through SMTP2GO yesterday and did they arrive?"
What it does
get_email_cycle: Show the plan cycle: start and end date, emails used, emails remaining and the monthly allowance.get_email_summary: Get one report of the last 30 days: emails sent, bounces, spam, unsubscribes, opens, clicks, rejects and the plan cycle.get_email_bounces: Get a summary of bounces and rejects for the last 30 days: emails, rejects, soft bounces, hard bounces and bounce percentage.get_email_history: Get sending activity for a period grouped by sender address, SMTP user, domain or subaccount: emails used, bytes, opens, clicks, bounces, spam and unsubscribes.search_activity: Search email events (processed, delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, unsubscribed ...) by subject, sender or recipient. Returns up to 1,000 events per page with a continue token.search_sent_emails: List sent emails with sender, recipient, status, delivery time, SMTP response and open counts; optionally only opened or clicked ones. Each record also carries open details.list_sender_domains: List verified and pending sender domains with DKIM and return-path verification state and tracking subdomains.list_single_sender_emails: List single sender email addresses with their verification status.view_suppressions: List suppressed addresses and domains with reason, type and time; check whether one address is blocked.search_templates: List email templates with name, id, subject, tags and last update.search_subaccounts: List subaccounts with name, email, id, plan size, usage, state and dedicated IP flag.
BYOK key
You bring your own SMTP2GO API key (restrict its permissions to the read endpoints you need) (https://app.smtp2go.com/sending/apikeys/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.smtp2go.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
