What Snyk Settings (BYOK) is for
Snyk Settings (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Snyk Settings data through the Snyk Settings API with a key you supply (personal access token or service account token). Read-only: 12 tools (list_groups, get_group, list_group_orgs, list_tenants, get_iac_settings, get_sast_settings, get_secrets_settings, get_open_source_settings, list_collections, get_collection, list_container_images, list_custom_base_images). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.snyk.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Snyk Settings. Snyk Settings and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Snyk groups can I access?"
- "Show my Snyk group"
- "Which organizations are in my Snyk group?"
- "Which Snyk tenant am I in?"
- "Are custom IaC rules enabled for my Snyk organization?"
- "Is Snyk Code enabled for my organization?"

BYOK key
You bring your own Snyk Settings personal access token or service account token (https://app.snyk.io/account). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.snyk.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
