What SpinupWP (BYOK) is for

SpinupWP (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own SpinupWP data through the SpinupWP API with a key you supply (API access token (personal or team)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_servers, get_server, list_sites, get_site, list_events, get_event, list_storage_providers, list_ssh_keys, get_provider_metadata). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.spinupwp.app. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SpinupWP. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which SpinupWP servers need a reboot?"
  • "Show SpinupWP server 1"
  • "Which SpinupWP sites have pending plugin updates?"
  • "Show SpinupWP site 3"
  • "Did the last SpinupWP operations finish successfully?"
  • "What is the status of SpinupWP event 7?"

What it does

  • list_servers: List servers with provider, region, size, IP address, disk usage, connection status and whether a reboot or upgrade is pending.
  • get_server: Get one server's details: provider, size, disk space, database engine, connection status and pending reboot or upgrade.
  • list_sites: List WordPress and other sites with domain, PHP version, HTTPS, page cache, backup and update status, optionally for one server.
  • get_site: Get one site's full status: PHP version, HTTPS, caching, backup schedule, WordPress updates pending, git deploy settings and cron.
  • list_events: List recent background events (site and server operations) with status, start and finish time and error output.
  • get_event: Get one event's status and output; status 'deployed' means it completed, and failures put error text in output.
  • list_storage_providers: List the backup storage providers configured for the team (service and name).
  • list_ssh_keys: List the team's SSH public keys (name, fingerprint and creation time).
  • get_provider_metadata: List the regions and instance sizes (with monthly price) SpinupWP can provision at one cloud provider.

BYOK key

You bring your own SpinupWP API access token (personal or team) (https://spinupwp.app/account/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.spinupwp.app over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
