SportsData.io College Basketball (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own SportsData.io College Basketball data through the SportsData.io College Basketball API with a key you supply (SportsData.io College Basketball API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_conferences, list_teams, get_current_season, get_season_schedule, get_team_schedule, list_scores_by_date, list_team_players, list_stadiums, list_team_season_stats, list_player_season_stats_by_team, list_team_game_stats_by_date, get_tournament). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.sportsdata.io. SportsData.io College Basketball and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

What it does

  • list_conferences: List NCAA basketball conferences with their ids and names.
  • list_teams: List NCAA basketball teams in short form: abbreviation, school, mascot name, conference and short display name.
  • get_current_season: Get the current NCAA basketball season: year, start and end year, description, regular season and postseason start dates and the value to use as season in other tools.
  • get_season_schedule: Get a season's NCAA basketball schedule in short form: game id, date, status, teams, scores, and tournament round and seeds.
  • get_team_schedule: Get all games of one NCAA basketball team in a season with status, period, time remaining, teams and scores.
  • list_scores_by_date: List NCAA basketball games on one date in short form with status, teams and scores.
  • list_team_players: List a team's NCAA basketball roster with name, class, position, jersey number, height and weight.
  • list_stadiums: List NCAA basketball arenas with address, city, state, country, capacity and coordinates.
  • list_team_season_stats: List season-total statistics for NCAA basketball teams: record, points, shooting percentages, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and turnovers.
  • list_player_season_stats_by_team: List season-total statistics of one NCAA basketball team's players: games, minutes, points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and shooting percentages.
  • list_team_game_stats_by_date: List team box score statistics for every NCAA basketball game on one date: opponent, home or away, points, shooting percentages, rebounds, assists and turnovers.
  • get_tournament: Get the NCAA basketball tournament record for a season: tournament id, name and location.

BYOK key

You bring your own SportsData.io College Basketball SportsData.io College Basketball API key (https://sportsdata.io/developers/api-documentation/ncaa-basketball). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.sportsdata.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
