What Storyblok (BYOK) is for
Storyblok (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Storyblok data through the Storyblok API with a key you supply (Content Delivery API access token (public or preview)). Read-only: 8 tools (get_space, list_stories, get_story, list_links, list_tags, list_datasources, list_datasource_entries, list_taxonomies). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.storyblok.com, api-us.storyblok.com, api-ca.storyblok.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Storyblok. Storyblok and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What is the name and which languages does my Storyblok space have?"
- "Which stories are in the blog folder of my Storyblok space?"
- "Show the story with full slug blog/hello-world in my Storyblok space"
- "Show the folder and page tree of my Storyblok space"
- "Which tags are used in my Storyblok space?"
- "Which data sources exist in my Storyblok space?"
What it does
get_space: Show the space the token belongs to: id, name, domain, languages and the cached-version timestamp.list_stories: List stories (entries) of the space with name, slugs, publish dates and tags, without their content. Newest-first order is not guaranteed; use sort_by.get_story: Get one story with its fields (content), slugs, dates and tags. The story is identified by id, uuid or full slug.list_links: List stories and folders as light link records (id, name, slug, folder flag, publish state), keyed by uuid. Useful for site trees.list_tags: List the tags used on stories with the number of stories carrying each tag.list_datasources: List the data sources (key-value lists such as translations or colours) with id, name, slug and dimensions.list_datasource_entries: List the entries (name and value pairs) of a data source, optionally in one dimension.list_taxonomies: List the taxonomy terms defined in the space.
BYOK key
You bring your own Storyblok Content Delivery API access token (public or preview) (https://www.storyblok.com/docs/concepts/access-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.storyblok.com, api-us.storyblok.com, api-ca.storyblok.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Data sources

Live from the Storyblok API (api.storyblok.com, api-us.storyblok.com, api-ca.storyblok.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.storyblok.com/docs/api/content-delivery/v2. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.
What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Storyblok. Storyblok and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
