What Stripe Climate (BYOK) is for

Stripe Climate (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Stripe Climate data through the Stripe Climate API with a key you supply (restricted API key with read permissions only (starts with rk_live_ or rk_test_)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_climate_orders, get_climate_order, list_climate_products, get_climate_product, list_climate_suppliers, get_climate_supplier). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.stripe.com. What it does

  • list_climate_orders: List your Stripe Climate carbon removal orders with status, metric tons, cost, expected delivery year and public beneficiary name. Amounts are in the smallest currency unit. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • get_climate_order: Get one Climate order by id: status, metric tons, amounts, delivery dates and product. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • list_climate_products: List carbon removal products you can order, with delivery year, tons available and current price per metric ton. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • get_climate_product: Get one Climate product by id, for example climsku_frontier_offtake_portfolio_2027, with price per ton and availability. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • list_climate_suppliers: List carbon removal suppliers with name, removal method (such as direct air capture) and locations. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • get_climate_supplier: Get one Climate supplier by id: name, removal method, information URL and locations. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.

BYOK key

You bring your own Stripe Climate restricted API key with read permissions only (starts with rk_live_ or rk_test_) (https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.stripe.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
