What Stripe Reporting (BYOK) is for

Stripe Reporting (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Stripe Reporting data through the Stripe Reporting API with a key you supply (restricted API key with read permissions only (starts with rk_live_ or rk_test_)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_report_types, get_report_type, list_report_runs, get_report_run, list_sigma_scheduled_query_runs, get_sigma_scheduled_query_run). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.stripe.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Stripe Reporting. Stripe Reporting and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Stripe report types are available?"
  • "What date range does report type balance.summary.1 cover?"
  • "Which report runs finished recently?"
  • "Did report run frr_1Nf7GKLkdIwHu7ix finish?"
  • "Which scheduled Sigma queries ran lately?"
  • "Did Sigma scheduled query run sqr_1NHkbnLkdIwHu7ix succeed?"

What it does

  • list_report_types: List the financial report types you can run, such as balance summaries and payout reconciliation, with the date range each has data for. Dates are Unix seconds. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • get_report_type: Get one report type by id, for example balance.summary.1, with its name and data availability window. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • list_report_runs: List report runs that were started, with report type, status, requested interval and currency. The file itself is not returned. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • get_report_run: Get one report run by id: status, error text, requested interval and when it finished. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • list_sigma_scheduled_query_runs: List runs of Sigma scheduled queries with title, status, data load time and when the result file expires. Result files are not returned. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.
  • get_sigma_scheduled_query_run: Get one Sigma scheduled query run by id: title, status, error message and result expiry. Works with a restricted key that has read access to this resource only.

BYOK key

You bring your own Stripe Reporting restricted API key with read permissions only (starts with rk_live_ or rk_test_) (https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.stripe.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Stripe Reporting API (api.stripe.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.stripe.com/api/reporting/report_run. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Stripe Reporting. Stripe Reporting and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Stripe Reporting account.
