What Stytch (BYOK) is for

Stytch (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Stytch data through the Stytch API with a key you supply (project ID (live environment)). Read-only: 8 tools (get_user, search_users, get_user_sessions, get_rbac_policy, search_connected_apps, get_connected_app, search_m2m_clients, get_m2m_client). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.stytch.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Stytch. Stytch and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Show the Stytch user user-test-16d9ba61-97a1-4ba4-9720-b03761dc50c6"
  • "List the users in my Stytch project"
  • "What active Stytch sessions does user user-test-16d9ba61-97a1-4ba4-9720-b03761dc50c6 have?"
  • "What roles and permissions are defined in my Stytch RBAC policy?"
  • "Which Connected Apps are registered in my Stytch project?"
  • "Show details of the Stytch connected app connected-app-test-1234"

What it does

  • get_user: Get one Stytch consumer user: status, name, email addresses, phone numbers, lock flag, roles and creation time. Contains personal data.
  • search_users: List the users of the Stytch project (no filter), page by page with a cursor. Search is rate limited to 150 requests a minute. Contains personal data.
  • get_user_sessions: List the active sessions of one Stytch user with start, last access and expiry times.
  • get_rbac_policy: Get the active RBAC policy of the Stytch project: roles with permissions, resources with actions, and scopes.
  • search_connected_apps: List the Connected Apps (OAuth clients that use the project as an identity provider) with type, status and redirect URLs.
  • get_connected_app: Get one Stytch Connected App by client id: name, status, client type, redirect URLs and token expiry.
  • search_m2m_clients: List the machine-to-machine clients of the Stytch project with scopes, status and the last four characters of the secret.
  • get_m2m_client: Get one Stytch machine-to-machine client by client id: name, status, scopes and the last four characters of its secret.

BYOK key

You bring your own Stytch project ID (live environment) (https://stytch.com/dashboard/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.stytch.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Stytch API (api.stytch.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://stytch.com/docs/api-reference/consumer/api/overview. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Stytch. Stytch and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Stytch account.
