What Supabase Project Ops (BYOK) is for

Supabase Project Ops (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Supabase Project Ops data through the Supabase Project Ops API with a key you supply (personal access token). Read-only: 10 tools (list_organization_projects, get_organization_entitlements, list_available_regions, list_project_addons, get_upgrade_status, list_restore_versions, get_restore_point, get_function, get_branch, get_performance_advisors). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.supabase.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Supabase Project Ops. Supabase Project Ops and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which projects does my Supabase organization have and are they healthy?"
  • "Does my Supabase organization plan include read replicas and how many days of log retention?"
  • "Which regions can I create a new Supabase project in?"
  • "Which add-ons does my Supabase project use and what compute size is it on?"
  • "Is my Supabase Postgres upgrade finished?"
  • "Which Postgres versions can my Supabase project be restored onto?"

What it does

  • list_organization_projects: List the projects of one organization with ref, name, region, status, creation time and each database's compute size, type and disk size. Supports search, sorting and paging.
  • get_organization_entitlements: List the features the organization's plan entitles it to (for example branching limit, log retention days, read replicas) with the allowed value of each.
  • list_available_regions: List regions where a new Supabase project can be created for an organization, with recommended and all choices and their capacity status.
  • list_project_addons: List a project's selected billing add-ons (compute size, PITR, custom domain, IPv4, MFA) and the add-ons and variants it could switch to.
  • get_upgrade_status: Get the status of the project's latest Postgres major version upgrade: target version, progress step, error and timestamps.
  • list_restore_versions: List the Postgres versions the project could be restored to, with release channel and engine.
  • get_restore_point: Get a named restore point of a project: status and completion time.
  • get_function: Get one Edge Function by slug: status, version, JWT verification flag, entrypoint and timestamps.
  • get_branch: Get one database branch of a project by name: Git branch, pull request number, status, data flag and preview project status.
  • get_performance_advisors: List performance findings for a project (for example unindexed foreign keys, unused indexes) with level, title, remediation link and the affected object.

BYOK key

You bring your own Supabase Project Ops personal access token (https://supabase.com/dashboard/account/tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.supabase.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Supabase Project Ops API (api.supabase.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://supabase.com/docs/reference/api/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Supabase Project Ops. Supabase Project Ops and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Supabase Project Ops account.
