What Svix (BYOK) is for

Svix (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Svix data through the Svix API with a key you supply (Svix API key (per environment)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_applications, get_application, list_endpoints, get_endpoint, get_endpoint_stats, list_messages, get_message, list_attempts_by_message, list_attempts_by_endpoint, list_event_types). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.us.svix.com, api.eu.svix.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Svix applications exist in my account?"
  • "Show the Svix application with uid acme-corp"
  • "Which webhook endpoints does application acme-corp have?"
  • "Is endpoint ep_123 of acme-corp disabled?"
  • "How many deliveries to endpoint ep_123 failed this week?"
  • "What webhook messages did acme-corp receive recently?"

What it does

  • list_applications: List the webhook applications (usually one per customer) with id, uid, name, rate limit and dates.
  • get_application: Get one application by id or uid.
  • list_endpoints: List the webhook endpoints of an application with url, description, subscribed event types, disabled flag and dates.
  • get_endpoint: Get one endpoint's url, description, event type filter, rate limit and disabled flag (the signing secret is not read).
  • get_endpoint_stats: Count the delivery outcomes (success, pending, sending, fail, canceled) of an endpoint, optionally between two times.
  • list_messages: List the messages sent to an application, newest first, with event type, event id, timestamp and channels. Payloads are left out.
  • get_message: Get one message by id or event id: event type, timestamp and channels.
  • list_attempts_by_message: List the delivery attempts of one message to every endpoint, with status, HTTP status code, duration and time.
  • list_attempts_by_endpoint: List recent delivery attempts to one endpoint with status, HTTP status code, duration and time.
  • list_event_types: List the event types defined in the environment with description, archived and deprecated flags.

BYOK key

You bring your own Svix Svix API key (per environment) (https://docs.svix.com/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.us.svix.com, api.eu.svix.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
