What Swarmia (BYOK) is for
Swarmia (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Swarmia data through the Swarmia API with a key you supply (Swarmia API token (scope for the reports you read)). Read-only: 5 tools (get_code_metrics, get_dora_metrics, get_ai_assistant_adoption, get_custom_report, list_teams). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.swarmia.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Swarmia. Swarmia and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What was our PR cycle time per team in September in Swarmia?"
- "What are our DORA metrics for the last month in Swarmia?"
- "How many of our developers actively use AI coding assistants according to Swarmia?"
- "Run my saved Swarmia report"
- "Which teams are defined in Swarmia?"
What it does
get_code_metrics: Pull request metrics per team over a period: cycle time, review rate, time to first review (seconds), merge time, merged count, contributors. One row per team plus a summary row.get_dora_metrics: DORA metrics over a period for the organization or per team: change lead time, release time, time to recovery (seconds), change failure rate and deployment count.get_ai_assistant_adoption: Counts of enabled and active AI coding assistant users and contributors in a period, per team plus a summary (user identities are not returned).get_custom_report: Run a custom report saved in the Swarmia Explore page, by its UUID (shown as activeReport in the app URL). Rows depend on the report; paged by limit and offset.list_teams: List the organization's teams with ids, parent links, external ids and the Jira or Linear keys they own (members and admin emails are left out).
BYOK key
You bring your own Swarmia Swarmia API token (scope for the reports you read) (https://app.swarmia.com/settings/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.swarmia.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Swarmia. Swarmia and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Swarmia account.
