What Synthflow (BYOK) is for

Synthflow (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Synthflow data through the Synthflow API with a key you supply (Synthflow API key (global region)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_batch_calls, get_batch_call, list_chats, list_simulation_suites, list_simulation_scenarios, list_simulation_cases). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.synthflow.ai.   • "Which test cases are in Synthflow suite suite-1?"

What it does

  • list_batch_calls: List batch call campaigns, newest first, with status, recipient counters (total, dispatched, failed, pending) and the agent that places the calls.
  • get_batch_call: Get one batch call: status and counters of recipients total, dispatched, failed and still pending.
  • list_chats: List text chat sessions (id, status, start time), optionally for one agent, with a cursor for the next page.
  • list_simulation_suites: List simulation suites (groups of test cases for an agent) with the agent, language and summaries of their cases.
  • list_simulation_scenarios: List simulation scenario templates used to generate test cases, with name and description.
  • list_simulation_cases: List simulation test cases with prompt, success criteria, type and the suite they belong to.

BYOK key

You bring your own Synthflow Synthflow API key (global region) (https://docs.synthflow.ai/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.synthflow.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
