What Taskade (BYOK) is for

Taskade (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Taskade data through the Taskade API with a key you supply (Taskade personal access token). Read-only: 11 tools (list_workspaces, list_workspace_folders, list_folder_projects, list_my_projects, get_project, list_project_members, list_project_tasks, get_task, get_task_note, list_project_blocks, list_folder_agents). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to www.taskade.com.   • "Which Taskade workspaces do I have?"
  • "What folders are in my Taskade workspace ws_1?"
  • "Which projects are in Taskade folder folder_abc123?"
  • "What Taskade projects did I open recently?"
  • "What is Taskade project proj_abc123?"
  • "Who is on Taskade project proj_abc123?"

What it does

  • list_workspaces: List the Taskade workspaces the token's user belongs to.
  • list_workspace_folders: List the folders (subspaces) inside a Taskade workspace.
  • list_folder_projects: List the projects in a Taskade folder or workspace.
  • list_my_projects: List the token owner's Taskade projects, optionally ordered by last viewed.
  • get_project: Get one Taskade project's id and name.
  • list_project_members: List the members of a Taskade project with display name and handle.
  • list_project_tasks: List the tasks of a Taskade project with text, completion flag and parent task; cursor-paged.
  • get_task: Get one Taskade task: text, completion flag and parent id.
  • get_task_note: Get the note attached to a Taskade task.
  • list_project_blocks: List all content blocks of a Taskade project (tasks, headings and text) with completion flag; cursor-paged.
  • list_folder_agents: List the AI agents in a Taskade folder with name and description.

BYOK key

You bring your own Taskade Taskade personal access token (https://www.taskade.com/settings/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to www.taskade.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
