What Tavus (BYOK) is for
Tavus (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Tavus data through the Tavus API with a key you supply (Tavus API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_conversations, get_conversation, list_pals, list_faces, list_voices, list_documents, list_guardrails, list_objectives). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to tavusapi.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tavus. Tavus and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Tavus conversations are active right now?"
- "Show details and events of Tavus conversation c123abc"
- "Which PALs have I created in Tavus?"
- "Which faces do I have in Tavus and are they ready?"
- "Which custom voices do I have in Tavus?"
- "Which knowledge documents are ready in my Tavus account?"
What it does
list_conversations: List conversations (live video sessions) with status, PAL, face and creation time; filter by active or ended.get_conversation: Get one conversation by id; set verbose to include its event log.list_pals: List PALs (conversational video agents) with name, system prompt, greeting, default face and linked documents.list_faces: List faces (human likenesses trained for video) with training status, model and default voice.list_voices: List voices (yours, stock or both) with name, type, status and tags.list_documents: List knowledge documents (crawled pages and files used by PALs) with status, tags and crawl settings.list_guardrails: List guardrails (rules that keep a PAL on topic) with prompt, modality and tags.list_objectives: List conversation objectives (goals a PAL tries to complete) with prompts, output variables and chaining.
BYOK key
You bring your own Tavus Tavus API key (https://maker.tavus.io/dev/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to tavusapi.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not

Tavus and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
