What Telnyx Voice Config (BYOK) is for
Telnyx Voice Config (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Telnyx Voice Config data through the Telnyx Voice Config API with a key you supply (API key (V2)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_credential_connections, list_fqdn_connections, list_ip_connections, list_fqdns, list_ips, list_texml_applications, list_fax_applications, list_queues, get_queue, count_connections). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.telnyx.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Telnyx Voice Config. Telnyx Voice Config and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which SIP credential connections do I have on Telnyx?"
- "Which Telnyx FQDN connections route my inbound calls?"
- "Which IP connections are set up on Telnyx?"
- "Which FQDNs are configured for my Telnyx connections?"
- "Which IP addresses are configured on my Telnyx IP connections?"
- "Which TeXML applications exist on my Telnyx account?"
What it does
list_credential_connections: List SIP credential connections with active flag, webhook version, inbound and outbound channel limits and routing method. SIP usernames and passwords are not returned.list_fqdn_connections: List FQDN SIP connections with transport protocol, inbound region and subdomain, default routing method, channel limits and outbound voice profile.list_ip_connections: List IP-authenticated SIP connections with transport protocol, inbound region, default routing method and channel limits.list_fqdns: List the FQDN routing targets (hostname and port) attached to FQDN connections.list_ips: List the IP address routing targets attached to IP connections, with port.list_texml_applications: List TeXML applications with active flag, voice and status webhook URLs and methods, inbound and outbound channel limits.list_fax_applications: List programmable fax applications with active flag, webhook URL and channel limits.list_queues: List call queues with the current number of waiting calls, maximum size and average wait time in seconds.get_queue: Get one call queue by name: current size, maximum size, average wait time and timestamps.count_connections: Count connections by type (IP, credential, FQDN, TeXML, call control, fax and others) and show the account's connection limits.
BYOK key
You bring your own Telnyx Voice Config API key (V2) (https://portal.telnyx.com/#/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.telnyx.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
