What Thanks io (BYOK) is for

Thanks io (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Thanks io data through the Thanks io API with a key you supply (thanks.io API key). Read-only: 10 tools (list_orders, track_order, list_mailing_lists, get_mailing_list, list_sub_accounts, list_image_templates, list_creatives, list_message_templates, list_webhooks, list_handwriting_styles). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.thanks.io. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What is the status of my recent thanks.io orders?"
  • "How many mailers of thanks.io order 42708 were delivered?"
  • "Which thanks.io mailing lists do I have and how big are they?"
  • "How many QR scans has thanks.io mailing list 3019 had?"
  • "Which thanks.io sub-accounts do I have?"
  • "Which postcard image templates are in my thanks.io account?"

What it does

  • list_orders: List recent mail orders with mailer type, size, status, recipient counts, totals and scan count. Recipient addresses are not returned.
  • track_order: Get an order's delivery summary: status and counts of printed, in transit, delivered, returned, failed and QR scans. Per-recipient errors are not returned.
  • list_mailing_lists: List mailing lists with type, recipient count, QR scan totals, send totals and last send date. The recipients themselves are not returned.
  • get_mailing_list: Get one mailing list's type, recipient count, QR scan totals and send totals by id.
  • list_sub_accounts: List sub-accounts with title and return address city and state.
  • list_image_templates: List image templates (the front design of a mailer) with type, name, preview image and dates.
  • list_creatives: List creatives in the library (an image template paired with a message template), 24 per page, with mailer type, size, completeness and default flag.
  • list_message_templates: List message templates with type, name, handwriting style, font size and dates.
  • list_webhooks: List configured webhooks with event type, target URL, HTTP verb and invocation count (paid plans).
  • list_handwriting_styles: List the handwriting styles available for mailers with id, name, type and a sample image.

BYOK key

You bring your own Thanks io thanks.io API key (https://dashboard.thanks.io/app/settings/api-access). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.thanks.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
