Together AI training sessions, model resources, checkpoints and FP4 jobs (your key) lets an AI assistant read your own Together AI Post-Training data through the Together AI Post-Training API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 10 tools (list_supported_models, list_model_resources, get_model_resources, list_training_sessions, get_training_session, list_checkpoints, get_checkpoint, list_fp4_jobs, get_fp4_job, list_fp4_job_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.together.ai. What it does

  • list_supported_models: List the base models the Together post-training service supports with default GPU type and compute configurations.
  • list_model_resources: List your post-training model resources (provisioned compute for a base model) with status, GPU type and replica count.
  • get_model_resources: Get one model resource with status, error details, compute configuration and optimizer settings.
  • list_training_sessions: List your post-training sessions with status, base model, current step, LoRA settings and timestamps.
  • get_training_session: Get one training session with status, error details, LoRA configuration, policy state and its checkpoint lists.
  • list_checkpoints: List training and inference checkpoints, newest first, with type, base model, LoRA rank and step.
  • get_checkpoint: Get metadata of one checkpoint: type, base model, LoRA rank, step and owning session. No model files are downloaded.
  • list_fp4_jobs: List FP4 preparation (quantization) jobs of your project with status and result model ids.
  • get_fp4_job: Get one FP4 preparation job with status, parameters and result.
  • list_fp4_job_events: List the progress events of an FP4 preparation job with level, type and message.

BYOK key

You bring your own Together AI Post-Training API key (https://api.together.ai/settings/projects/~current/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.together.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
