What Together AI (BYOK) is for

Together AI (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Together AI data through the Together AI API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 8 tools (whoami, list_models, list_files, list_fine_tuning_jobs, list_batches, list_endpoints, list_hardware, list_evaluation_jobs). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.together.ai. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Together AI. Together AI and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Together AI project is my key connected to?"
  • "Which Together AI chat models have the largest context window?"
  • "What training files have I uploaded to Together AI?"
  • "What is the status of my Together AI fine-tuning jobs?"
  • "Are my Together AI batch jobs finished?"
  • "Which dedicated endpoints are running in my Together AI account?"

What it does

  • whoami: Show which project and organization the key belongs to.
  • list_models: List Together AI models with type, context length and prices (USD per million tokens where applicable). The list is long.
  • list_files: List files uploaded to your Together AI project with name, size, purpose and processing status.
  • list_fine_tuning_jobs: List your Together AI fine-tuning jobs with base model, status, epochs, token count, price and timestamps.
  • list_batches: List your Together AI batch jobs with model, endpoint, status, progress and deadline.
  • list_endpoints: List dedicated and serverless inference endpoints in your Together AI account with model, state and owner.
  • list_hardware: List hardware configurations available for dedicated endpoints with GPU type, memory, GPU count, price per minute in cents and availability.
  • list_evaluation_jobs: List your Together AI model evaluation jobs with type, status and timestamps.

BYOK key

You bring your own Together AI API key (https://api.together.ai/settings/projects/~current/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.together.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Together AI API (api.together.ai) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.together.ai/reference/models-1. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Together AI. Together AI and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Together AI account.
