What Toggl Track (BYOK) is for
Toggl Track (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Toggl Track data through the Toggl Track API with a key you supply (API token). Read-only: 12 tools (get_me, list_workspaces, list_organizations, list_time_entries, get_current_time_entry, get_time_entry, list_projects, list_clients, list_tags, list_project_tasks, list_workspace_users, get_api_quota). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.track.toggl.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Toggl Track. Toggl Track and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Toggl Track account is my token connected to?"
- "What Toggl workspaces do I have?"
- "Which Toggl organization am I in and what plan is it on?"
- "What did I track in Toggl last week?"
- "Is my Toggl timer running and what am I tracking?"
- "Show Toggl time entry 3456789012"
What it does
get_me: Show the Toggl Track account the token belongs to: name, email, default workspace, time zone and week start. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.list_workspaces: List the Toggl Track workspaces you belong to with ID, name, organization, your role and premium flag. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.list_organizations: List the Toggl Track organizations you belong to with plan name, user count and whether you own or administer them.list_time_entries: List your most recent Toggl Track time entries, or those that started in a date range, with description, project, tags, start, stop and duration in seconds (negative while running). Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.get_current_time_entry: Show the Toggl Track timer that is running right now (description, project, start time), or an empty answer when none is running.get_time_entry: Get one Toggl Track time entry by ID with description, project, tags, start, stop and duration.list_projects: List the projects of one Toggl Track workspace with client, color, billable flag, estimates and tracked hours. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.list_clients: List the clients of one Toggl Track workspace, active by default, optionally filtered by a name fragment. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.list_tags: List the tags of one Toggl Track workspace with ID and name. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.list_project_tasks: List the tasks of one Toggl Track project with estimate, tracked time (milliseconds) and whether they are still active. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.list_workspace_users: List the members of one Toggl Track workspace with name, email, role and active flags. Toggl limits API calls per hour (30 on the free plan for workspace data, 30 for the /me calls on every plan), so call sparingly.get_api_quota: Show how many Toggl Track API calls you have left in the current window per organization, and when the window resets.
BYOK key
You bring your own Toggl Track API token (https://track.toggl.com/profile). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.track.toggl.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
