What TrackingTime (BYOK) is for
TrackingTime (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own TrackingTime data through the TrackingTime API with a key you supply (TrackingTime account email). Read-only: 8 tools (get_me, list_projects, get_project, list_tasks, list_customers, get_customer, list_users, list_holidays). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.trackingtime.co. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TrackingTime. TrackingTime and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which TrackingTime user am I signed in as?"
- "Which projects do I track time on in TrackingTime?"
- "How many hours were worked on a TrackingTime project?"
- "Which TrackingTime tasks are open?"
- "Who are my customers in TrackingTime?"
- "How much time have I tracked for a TrackingTime customer?"
What it does
get_me: Show the TrackingTime user the credentials belong to: name, email, role and status in the current account.list_projects: List the projects of your default TrackingTime account with customer, hours worked, estimate, task counts and billable flag.get_project: Get one project's summary: customer, hours worked, estimate and task counts.list_tasks: List tasks (paginated by the service) with project, customer, accumulated time, due date and whether a timer is running.list_customers: List your TrackingTime customers with project counts and hours worked.get_customer: Get one customer's project counts and hours worked.list_users: List the users of the TrackingTime account with name, role and status (no invite links or schedules).list_holidays: List the public holidays set up in the TrackingTime account.
BYOK key
You bring your own TrackingTime TrackingTime account email (https://support.trackingtime.co/en/articles/6329119-auth). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.trackingtime.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
