What Trustpilot (BYOK) is for

Trustpilot (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Trustpilot data through the Trustpilot API with a key you supply (Trustpilot API key (public endpoints)). Read-only: 10 tools (find_business_unit, search_business_units, get_business_unit, get_business_unit_profile, list_business_unit_reviews, get_review, list_latest_reviews, list_categories, list_category_business_units, list_business_unit_categories). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.trustpilot.com. What it does

  • find_business_unit: Find a company's Trustpilot business unit by its domain name and get its TrustScore, star rating, review counts per star and status.
  • search_business_units: Search business units by part of a name; returns id, display name and identifying domain for each match.
  • get_business_unit: Get a business unit's public data: name, website, country, TrustScore, stars and review counts per star.
  • get_business_unit_profile: Get a company's public profile text on Trustpilot: company name, description, address city and country, and whether the profile is claimed.
  • list_business_unit_reviews: List public reviews of a business unit with stars, title, text, language, dates and company reply, filtered by stars, language or reply state.
  • get_review: Get one public review by id with stars, text, dates, reviewer name and company reply.
  • list_latest_reviews: List the newest public reviews across Trustpilot written in one language.
  • list_categories: List Trustpilot business categories (id and name), optionally the children of one parent category.
  • list_category_business_units: List business units in a category with TrustScore, review count and city.
  • list_business_unit_categories: List the categories a business unit is listed in.

BYOK key

You bring your own Trustpilot Trustpilot API key (public endpoints) (https://businessapp.b2b.trustpilot.com/integrations/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.trustpilot.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
