What Twilio Account Credentials (BYOK) is for

Twilio Account Credentials (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Account Credentials data through the Twilio Account Credentials API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 5 tools (list_aws_credentials, get_aws_credential, list_public_keys, get_public_key, get_messaging_geo_permissions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to accounts.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Account Credentials. Twilio Account Credentials and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which AWS credentials are stored in my Twilio account?"
  • "When was AWS credential CR... created?"
  • "Which public keys are stored in my Twilio account?"
  • "When was public key CR... added?"
  • "Is messaging to India enabled on my Twilio account?"

What it does

  • list_aws_credentials: List AWS credentials stored in Twilio (for example for recordings or Event Streams) by name and date. The secret values are never returned.
  • get_aws_credential: Get one stored AWS credential's name and dates. The secret is not returned.
  • list_public_keys: List public keys stored in Twilio (used for client-side encryption of recordings and similar) by name and date.
  • get_public_key: Get one stored public key's name and dates.
  • get_messaging_geo_permissions: Show which countries the account may send messages to, with dialing prefix and any risk note. Filter by comma-separated ISO country codes.

BYOK key

You bring your own Twilio Account Credentials Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to accounts.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Twilio Account Credentials API (accounts.twilio.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/credentials/api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Account Credentials. Twilio Account Credentials and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Twilio Account Credentials account.
