What Twilio Bulk Exports (BYOK) is for

Twilio Bulk Exports (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Bulk Exports data through the Twilio Bulk Exports API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 5 tools (get_export, list_export_days, get_export_configuration, list_export_jobs, get_export_job). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to bulkexports.twilio.com. What it does

  • get_export: Get the export entry for one resource type (Messages, Calls, Conferences or Participants) with links to its days and configuration.
  • list_export_days: List the days that have a daily export file for a resource type, with file size in bytes and creation date. Only metadata, not the file.
  • get_export_configuration: Get the daily export settings of a resource type: whether the export is enabled and the HTTP method of its notification webhook (the webhook URL is not returned).
  • list_export_jobs: List custom export jobs of a resource type with date range, queue position and estimated completion. The notification email and webhook URL are not returned.
  • get_export_job: Get one custom export job by SID: resource type, date range, queue position and estimated completion (notification email and webhook URL are not returned).

BYOK key

You bring your own Twilio Bulk Exports Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to bulkexports.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
