What Twilio Event Streams (BYOK) is for
Twilio Event Streams (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Event Streams data through the Twilio Event Streams API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_event_types, get_event_type, get_schema, list_schema_versions, list_sinks, get_sink, list_subscriptions, get_subscription, list_subscribed_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to events.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Event Streams. Twilio Event Streams and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which events can I stream from Twilio?"
- "What is the Twilio event type com.twilio.messaging.message.delivered?"
- "What is the latest version of the Twilio schema messaging.message?"
- "Which versions of the schema messaging.message exist?"
- "Which event sinks do I have in Twilio?"
- "Is event sink DG... active?"
What it does
list_event_types: List the event types Twilio can stream, with schema, availability status and a documentation link.get_event_type: Get one event type by its name, for example 'com.twilio.messaging.message.delivered'.get_schema: Get an event schema by ID with its latest version number.list_schema_versions: List the versions of an event schema with their creation dates and a link to the raw schema.list_sinks: List Event Streams sinks (where events are delivered) with type (kinesis, webhook, segment) and status. The sink configuration, which may hold credentials, is not returned.get_sink: Get one sink: description, type and status. The configuration is not returned.list_subscriptions: List Event Streams subscriptions with the sink each delivers to.get_subscription: Get one subscription: description and its sink.list_subscribed_events: List the event types a subscription receives with the schema version of each.
BYOK key
You bring your own Twilio Event Streams Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to events.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
