What Twilio Keys and Apps (BYOK) is for
Twilio Keys and Apps (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Keys and Apps data through the Twilio Keys and Apps API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_api_keys, get_api_key, list_signing_keys, get_signing_key, get_application, list_connect_apps, get_connect_app, list_authorized_connect_apps, get_authorized_connect_app). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Keys and Apps. Twilio Keys and Apps and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which API keys exist on my Twilio account and when were they created?"
- "When was Twilio API key SK... created?"
- "Which Twilio signing keys do I have?"
- "What is the name of Twilio signing key SK...?"
- "Where does my Twilio TwiML application AP... send voice and SMS webhooks?"
- "Which Twilio Connect apps have I registered?"

BYOK key
You bring your own Twilio Keys and Apps Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
