What Twilio Marketplace (BYOK) is for

Twilio Marketplace (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Marketplace data through the Twilio Marketplace API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_available_add_ons, get_available_add_on, list_available_add_on_extensions, list_installed_add_ons, get_installed_add_on, list_installed_add_on_extensions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to marketplace.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Marketplace. Twilio Marketplace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which add-ons can I install from the Twilio Marketplace?"
  • "What does Marketplace add-on XB... do?"
  • "Which extensions does Marketplace add-on XB... offer?"
  • "Which Marketplace add-ons have I installed in Twilio?"
  • "When was add-on XE... installed?"
  • "Which extensions of installed add-on XE... are enabled?"

What it does

  • list_available_add_ons: List Marketplace add-ons that can be installed, with description and pricing type.
  • get_available_add_on: Get one available add-on with its description, pricing type and configuration schema.
  • list_available_add_on_extensions: List the extensions (individual features) an available add-on offers.
  • list_installed_add_ons: List the add-ons installed on the account with name and unique name. Their configuration, which may hold credentials, is not returned.
  • get_installed_add_on: Get one installed add-on: name, description and dates. The configuration is not returned.
  • list_installed_add_on_extensions: List the extensions of one installed add-on with their enabled flag.

BYOK key

You bring your own Twilio Marketplace Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to marketplace.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Twilio Marketplace API (marketplace.twilio.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.twilio.com/docs/marketplace/api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Marketplace. Twilio Marketplace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
