What Twilio Monitor (BYOK) is for

Twilio Monitor (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Monitor data through the Twilio Monitor API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_alerts, list_alerts_between, get_alert, list_events, list_events_for_resource, get_event). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to monitor.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Monitor. Twilio Monitor and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What Twilio errors happened recently?"
  • "Which Twilio errors did we get between 1 and 7 January?"
  • "What was Twilio alert NO...?"
  • "What changed in my Twilio account recently?"
  • "Who changed phone number PN... in Twilio?"
  • "What was Twilio audit event AU...?"

What it does

  • list_alerts: List debugger alerts (errors and warnings) with error code, level, failing URL, related resource and time. Response bodies and headers are not returned.
  • list_alerts_between: List debugger alerts inside a required date range, optionally of one level (error, warning, notice, debug).
  • get_alert: Get one debugger alert: error code, level, text, failing URL and method, related resource and time. Response body and headers are not returned.
  • list_events: List audit events of changes made to the account (type, description, resource and actor). Event details and source IP are not returned.
  • list_events_for_resource: List audit events that touched one resource, for example a phone number or an API key.
  • get_event: Get one audit event: type, description, resource, actor and time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Twilio Monitor Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to monitor.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Twilio Monitor API (monitor.twilio.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.twilio.com/docs/usage/monitor-alert. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Monitor. Twilio Monitor and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Twilio Monitor account.
