What Twilio Pricing (BYOK) is for

Twilio Pricing (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Pricing data through the Twilio Pricing API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_sms_countries, get_sms_country_prices, list_number_countries, get_number_country_prices, list_voice_countries, get_voice_country_prices, get_voice_price_for_number, list_trunking_countries, get_trunking_country_prices). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to pricing.twilio.com. What it does

  • list_sms_countries: List the countries where Twilio publishes SMS prices.
  • get_sms_country_prices: Get SMS prices for one country: inbound price per number type and outbound prices per carrier (MCC and MNC). Prices are in the unit given by price_unit.
  • list_number_countries: List the countries where Twilio publishes phone number prices.
  • get_number_country_prices: Get monthly phone number prices for one country, per number type (local, mobile, toll-free ...). Prices are in the unit given by price_unit.
  • list_voice_countries: List the countries where Twilio publishes voice prices.
  • get_voice_country_prices: Get voice prices for one country: outbound price per destination prefix and inbound price per number type. Prices are in the unit given by price_unit.
  • get_voice_price_for_number: Get the outbound voice price for calling one specific phone number, optionally from a given Twilio number. Only a price lookup; no call is made.
  • list_trunking_countries: List the countries where Twilio publishes Elastic SIP Trunking prices.
  • get_trunking_country_prices: Get Elastic SIP Trunking prices for one country: terminating prices per destination prefix and originating prices per number type.

BYOK key

You bring your own Twilio Pricing Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to pricing.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
