What Twilio Serverless (BYOK) is for
Twilio Serverless (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Serverless data through the Twilio Serverless API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_services, get_service, list_environments, list_functions, list_function_versions, list_assets, list_builds, list_deployments, list_variable_names, list_logs). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to serverless.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Serverless. Twilio Serverless and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Twilio Functions services do I have?"
- "What is the domain base of my Functions service?"
- "What is the production domain of my Functions service?"
- "Which functions are in my Twilio Functions service?"
- "Which versions of my hello function were deployed?"
- "Which assets does my Functions service host?"
What it does
list_services: List the Twilio Serverless services of the account with their domain base and whether the UI can edit them.get_service: Get one Serverless service: names, domain base, credential inclusion and editability.list_environments: List the environments (such as dev and production) of a service with domain name and current build.list_functions: List the functions of a service by name.list_function_versions: List the versions of one function with their path and visibility (public, protected or private). Source code is not returned.list_assets: List the static assets of a service by name.list_builds: List the builds of a service with status (building, completed, failed), runtime and dependencies.list_deployments: List the deployments of one environment: which build went live and when.list_variable_names: List the names of the environment variables set on an environment, with dates. Values are never returned.list_logs: List recent function log lines of one environment with level, message and function, optionally for one function or a time window.
BYOK key
You bring your own Twilio Serverless Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to serverless.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
