What Twilio Studio (BYOK) is for

Twilio Studio (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Studio data through the Twilio Studio API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_flows, get_flow, list_flow_revisions, list_executions, get_execution, list_execution_steps). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to studio.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Studio. Twilio Studio and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Twilio Studio flows do I have and are they published?"
  • "Is my Welcome Studio flow published and valid?"
  • "What changed in the revisions of my Welcome flow?"
  • "Which executions of my Welcome flow are still active?"
  • "What is the status of this Studio execution?"
  • "Which steps did this Studio execution pass through?"

What it does

  • list_flows: List the Studio flows of the account with status (draft or published), revision number and validity. The flow definition itself is not returned.
  • get_flow: Get one Studio flow: name, status, current revision, validity, commit message and trigger webhook URL. The definition JSON and error lists are not returned.
  • list_flow_revisions: List the saved revisions of a Studio flow with revision number, status, validity and commit message.
  • list_executions: List executions (one run of a flow per contact) of a Studio flow with status and start time. Contact addresses and context are not returned.
  • get_execution: Get one Studio flow execution: flow revision, status, trigger source and timestamps. The context is not returned.
  • list_execution_steps: List the steps an execution moved through: widget name, type and which widget it came from and went to.

BYOK key

You bring your own Twilio Studio Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to studio.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Twilio Studio API (studio.twilio.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.twilio.com/docs/studio/rest-api/v2. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Studio. Twilio Studio and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Twilio Studio account.
