What Twilio Sync (BYOK) is for
Twilio Sync (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Sync data through the Twilio Sync API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_services, get_service, list_documents, list_lists, list_maps, list_streams, list_list_items, list_map_items, list_document_permissions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to sync.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Sync. Twilio Sync and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Twilio Sync services do I have?"
- "Is ACL enabled on my Twilio Sync service?"
- "Which Sync documents exist in my service?"
- "Which Sync lists exist in my service?"
- "Which Sync maps exist in my service?"
- "Which Sync streams exist in my service?"
What it does
list_services: List the Sync services of the account with webhook and access-control settings.get_service: Get one Sync service: names, webhook URL, ACL and reachability settings.list_documents: List the Sync documents of a service with name, revision, creator and expiry. The stored data itself is not returned.list_lists: List the Sync lists of a service with name, revision and expiry. List items are not returned.list_maps: List the Sync maps of a service with name, revision and expiry. Map items are not returned.list_streams: List the Sync message streams of a service with name and expiry.list_list_items: List the entries of a Sync list as index, revision and timestamps. The stored data of each entry is not returned.list_map_items: List the entries of a Sync map as key, revision and timestamps. The stored data of each entry is not returned.list_document_permissions: List which identities may read, write or manage a Sync document (needs ACL enabled on the service).
BYOK key
You bring your own Twilio Sync Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to sync.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
