What Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking (BYOK) is for
Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking data through the Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_trunks, get_trunk, list_origination_urls, list_trunk_phone_numbers, list_trunk_ip_access_control_lists, list_trunk_credential_lists, get_trunk_recording). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to trunking.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking. Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Elastic SIP trunks do I have in Twilio?"
- "How is trunk TK... configured?"
- "Where does trunk TK... send inbound calls?"
- "Which phone numbers are on trunk TK...?"
- "Which IP access lists protect trunk TK...?"
- "Which credential lists are attached to trunk TK...?"
What it does
list_trunks: List Elastic SIP trunks with domain name, authentication type, secure-media, recording, transfer and CNAM settings.get_trunk: Get one Elastic SIP trunk: domain name, auth type, secure media, recording, call transfer and CNAM lookup settings.list_origination_urls: List the origination SIP URLs of a trunk (where inbound calls are sent) with priority, weight and enabled flag.list_trunk_phone_numbers: List the Twilio phone numbers associated with a trunk with capabilities. Webhook URLs are not returned.list_trunk_ip_access_control_lists: List the IP access control lists attached to a trunk.list_trunk_credential_lists: List the credential lists attached to a trunk by name. The credentials themselves are not read.get_trunk_recording: Show a trunk's call recording mode and trim setting.
BYOK key
You bring your own Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to trunking.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
