What Twilio Video (BYOK) is for
Twilio Video (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Twilio Video data through the Twilio Video API with a key you supply (Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_rooms, get_room, list_room_participants, list_room_recordings, list_recordings, list_compositions, list_composition_hooks, get_room_recording_rules, get_recording_settings). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to video.twilio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twilio Video. Twilio Video and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Twilio video rooms are in progress right now?"
- "How long did Twilio video room RMaaa... last?"
- "Who joined Twilio video room RMaaa... and for how long?"
- "Which recordings exist for Twilio video room RMaaa...?"
- "How much video recording storage have I used?"
- "Which of my Twilio video compositions finished rendering?"
What it does
list_rooms: List video rooms with unique name, status, type (group, peer-to-peer), duration and recording flag, optionally by status, name or creation time.get_room: Get one video room: status, type, participant limit, media region, duration, recording flag and timeouts.list_room_participants: List the participants of a room with identity, status (connected, disconnected), join and leave times and duration.list_room_recordings: List the track recordings of one room with track name, type, codec, container, size in bytes and duration. Media files are not downloaded.list_recordings: List track recordings across the account, optionally by status, media type, source or creation time.list_compositions: List recording compositions (rendered videos) with status, resolution, format, size in bytes, duration and the room they came from.list_composition_hooks: List composition hooks (rules that render rooms automatically) with name, enabled flag, resolution and format.get_room_recording_rules: Get the recording rules of a room: which publishers and tracks are recorded.get_recording_settings: Get the account's default video recording storage settings: whether external storage and encryption are enabled.
BYOK key
You bring your own Twilio Video Account SID or API key SID (use a restricted API key, SID starts with SK, rather than the main Auth Token where possible) (https://www.twilio.com/docs/iam/api-keys/keys-in-console). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to video.twilio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
