What Typebot (BYOK) is for

Typebot (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Typebot data through the Typebot API with a key you supply (Typebot API token). Read-only: 8 tools (list_workspaces, get_workspace, list_typebots, get_typebot, list_folders, get_typebot_stats, get_usage, list_invoices). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.typebot.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Typebot workspaces do I have and on what plan?"
  • "Is Typebot workspace clwx1m2n30000abcd1234efgh past due?"
  • "Which chatbots do we have in Typebot?"
  • "Is Typebot bot clwx1m2n30001abcd1234efgh closed?"
  • "Which folders exist in our Typebot workspace?"
  • "How many people completed Typebot bot clwx1m2n30001abcd1234efgh in the last 30 days?"

What it does

  • list_workspaces: List the workspaces your token can access with id, name and plan.
  • get_workspace: Get one workspace by id: name, plan, whether it is suspended, past due or verified, plus your access mode. Billing ids are left out.
  • list_typebots: List the chatbots in a workspace (optionally one folder) with id, name, creation date, published bot id and your access right.
  • get_typebot: Get one chatbot's details by id: name, version, public id, custom domain, folder, workspace, creation and update times and whether it is archived or closed. The flow itself is left out.
  • list_folders: List the folders in a workspace (optionally inside a parent folder) with id, name and creation date.
  • get_typebot_stats: Show a bot's views, starts and completed chats for a time window.
  • get_usage: Show how many chats a workspace has used in the current billing period and when the count resets.
  • list_invoices: List a workspace's invoices with id, amount, currency and date.

BYOK key

You bring your own Typebot Typebot API token (https://docs.typebot.com/api-reference/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.typebot.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Works with the hosted Typebot cloud only. Create the token in the Typebot dashboard under Settings & Members > My account > API tokens. Chat answers (results) are not exposed.
